Weland Nordbygg 2024
Swedish, sustainable and innovative.
Swedish, sustainable and innovative.
Nordbygg is the largest and most important meeting place for the construction industry in the Nordic region. The event is held at Stockholmsmässan and gathers around 900 exhibiting companies and visitors from the entire construction sector in Sweden, as well as from the rest of Scandinavia, the Baltics, and Europe.
For Weland, Nordbygg is an important opportunity to meet and showcase to customers, partners, and other stakeholders. Under the theme “Swedish, Innovative, and Sustainable”, the booth gathered the nine participating companies from the Weland Group.
The first day of the event was dedicated to innovation. From the stage, representatives from the various companies presented product news and development projects. The full-scale prototype “Artär” – the winning spiral staircase in Weland’s architectural competition Weland Next Step – was unveiled along with the award ceremony for the finalists. During the day, Weland also launched its own innovative spiral staircase JOS – a completely new design developed with a focus on sustainability.
On the second and third days of the fair, visitors were invited to “Mässans Mästare” – a challenge led by world champion Magdalena Forsberg and host Johanna Samuelsson. The challenge attracted large crowds – and many were eager to try their luck. The contestants who held out the longest each day won an exclusive bicycle.
The booth was a well-visited gathering point during the three days of Nordbygg. As a result, it was awarded Byggfakta’s prize for ‘Crowd Magnet of the Year.’
PS Occasion assisted Weland with design of the booth, activations, communication, production, and implementation at Nordbygg.
