FOR AND BY THE MUSIC INDUSTRY
The Swedish MPA Awards – Musikförläggarnas Pris – is one of Swedens most prestigious awards, honoring Swedish songwriters, lyricists, and composers of both popular and classical music in 10 different categories. This gala is also different from other Swedish awards celebrating music, as it is an exclusive event for all guests. No press or other audience is invited to take part in the ceremony, making it an intimate event for and by everyone working in the music industry.
We were tasked to produce the gala as the award was to celebrate the 20-year anniversary. And we wanted to go all out.
WHERE ART AND MUSIC MEETS
We wanted to do something different and up the level of every part around the celebration. We hosted the gala at Artipelag – the art museum located in the Stockholm Archipelago. A unique venue where nature, architecture and art meet seamlessly. This created a perfect setting for the celebration of music, and while the ceremony was hosted in the enclosed event space, the rest of the building created a perfect scenery for the red carpet, mingle and after party.
AN ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
It’s all in the details. We wanted to create a format and space where everyone felt treated, comfortable and where all nominees and winners got their time to shine. By sound and visual effects, a tailormade stage design and immersive graphics we could customize all parts of the show. As a part of the anniversary, we at PS Occasion also took part in creating new and updated graphics that worked as a red thread throughout the experience.
